week 8- Audio

Voice Recorder >>

2 hour Audio tasks- completing-IN THIS ORDER- 1 is essential, 2 desirable, 3 would be surprising, 4  would be excellent and 5. you'll never have time in session!:

1. create one or more RELEVANT vocaroo and put it/them on your blog
2. set up Audioboom account and record using PC, Chromebook or mobile app
3. Look at Spreaker sample and set up an account or discuss how you could use it and collaborate on a show
4. explore making your own screencast
5. Watch read/write video and consider how you could use it in your subject area.

The first part of this post has four screencasts on tools you can use to aid the assessment and feedback processes as a teacher. It's about time saving (of course) but more about giving you the opportunity to add depth to your feedback and breadth to your assessment strategies.

The video below demonstrates how Read and Write for Google app combined with vocaroo.com can not only save loads of marking time (once you get into the swing of it) but it can also add depth and quality to the feedback.

Here's another screencast I made on using vocaroo with a little more on sharing options in Vocaroo

Audioboo.fm for assessment- these videos need updating because Audioboo has recently changed to audioboom

More specifics about how to use Audioboo (now called Audioboom!)
